Welcome To our 2012 Christmas Light Show

Park your car, stand on the sidewalk and enjoy the lights dancing to one of the 14 different songs playing on the speakers. If it’s cold out you can stay in the car and tune your FM radio to 88.9 where the show is broadcast in stereo. The shows run every day from 5:30 until at least 10:00. The shows start every 10 minutes and have from 1 to 3 songs.  Each show is different so you may need to come back several times to see all the songs. As we get closer to Christmas we will add more songs per show and run them later.  On the weekend before and Christmas weekend, shows run up to 11:00.

New This Year

Each year we try to add a few new things to the show and at least one new song.  Late last year we added The Skaters Waltz by Andre Rieu.  We just added this year’s new song and it’s another fantastic TSO song.  We picked this year’s song to highlight a new light feature.  You may have seen them auditioning in different parts of the yard last year but now the 15 new dancing Candy Canes are settled into their home in front of the big Christmas Tree.  They are so excited about being featured in this year’s new song we can’t keep them still and they keep dancing between the shows.

Last year we received a great honor by being selected as one of the houses Featured on Fritz’s Holiday Lights.  Fritz is the local NBC weather man and each night during the 11:00 news he shows footage of the best lights in the area.  We were also part of a 1 hour special that will air on Christmas day.  You can see our part of the show on our Videos & Photos page

One of our other featured songs is “Nutrocker” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  The song “Nutrocker” was released on the Night Castle album and like the other TSO songs we use it makes you want to dance with the lights.  We also feature a very unique arrangement of Amazing Grace.

The song that is still getting great reviews from everyone that sees it is “Jesus Child” by Denver and The Mile High OrchestraWe picked this song because it has such a unique style and it works so well with the lights.  DMHO’s music is the perfect blend of red hot horns, in a mix of jazz and big band that you just can’t get enough of.  If you like this song, be sure to check out the rest of their music on the DMHO MySpace music page.

If you can't get by to see the show in person you can watch the video on the Digital Photos page.  We are still working on some new videos for this year but we have several of the videos from past years posted.  I have to warn you the videos don’t come close to seeing it in person.

If you have seen our show, we would like to know what you thought of it. You can email us at
